Whilst DylNET V8 – Special Edition was released after DylNET 10 it is by no means better, it is just an upgrade/patch to the V8 which addresses a lot of bugs and issues, we designed V8 – Special Edition with intention to get V8 users to become used to the change to DylNET 10 later on with some similar functionality and GUI changes

 

We released the DylNET V8 and introduced the 8 series architecture back in 2017, however, we've decided to release one last 8 series browser, introducing DylNET V8 - Special Edition, an overall upgrade to the DylNET V8. The DylNET V8 - Special Edition mainly fixes performance issues that the regular V8 suffered and patches a huge amount of bugs. It also adds the same security level found in DylNET 10.

 

This is by no means better than DylNET 10 (or even close), however it allows people who prefer the V8 to experience a few of the features included in DylNET 10. After the release of this browser we will cease to release anymore updates to the 8 series architecture (DylNET V8 Family) and will be focusing primarily on the 10 series architecture (DylNET 10 Family) and possible future browsers. DylNET V8 - Special Edition is expected release during June, we don't wish to announce its release due to confusion with DylNET 10, this is still a predecessor and uses an upgraded version of a 2017 architecture made by us, we still strongly recommend you familiarise yourself with DylNET 10 as this is the approach we are taking for future browsers etc.
